Video Workshops

Think of these as ‘mini-workshops’

Since I cannot run workshops at the moment, I’ve prepared two sets of ‘pre-recorded classes’.

Although the material for each product below is 4-hours long, it’s 4-hours of condensed, focussed material.

I’ve had a lot of positive feedback that these classes have been very useful to those who’ve subscribed. The beauty of having the recordings is that you can review the material and pause as often as you want.

Digital Darkroom 4-lesson Mini Workshop

4 x 1-hour lessons on the art of image interpretation

Price: £175

Recorded Lessons Package

This course consist of 4 x 1-hour recorded lessons that cover the entire editing workflow.

Lesson 1. Digital Darkroom Overview

This webinar give you a clear overview from image selection, using tonal relationships to decide on what needs to be edited, and employing photoshop’s curves and masks to achieve that. Rather than thinking of this module as telling you everything in one go, consider that it’s purpose is to set your expectations and give an outline of what is going to be covered in the further webinars.

Lesson 2. Concepts

Think of this module as a theory module. Understanding how tones in a photograph relate (or not) to each other is at the foundation of good editing. Once you are able to look at your images from a tonal, rather than subject point of view, you’ll find clarity on how to proceed with your edits.

Lesson 3. Toolset

Think of this module as learning the tool set. More a case of how the tools work, rather than when / why you would choose to use them.

Lesson 4. Putting it all together
Concepts & Toolset - Image Interpretation

This is where the tonal relationship theory and Photoshop's toolset come together. Think of this module as applying the tonal relationship theory in combination with Photoshop’s curves and masks to reach your final result.
