5-Day Photography Workshops
Many of us never really get enough time away from home, or from work to concentrate on photography.
These courses allow you to have some dedicated time over 5 days or so to really connect with your photography whilst also soak up the atmosphere of a particularly stunning place too.
Because of the extended time, we have more opportunity to learn about your strengths and weaknesses and give you feedback during the critiques to work on the following day.

Testimonials
"I can’t imagine a better photo group leader than Bruce. Even though I’ve been on about a dozen photo tours all over the world, Bruce is by far the best
." Roger Pool, New York
Feel free to read more testimonials from our previous 5-day workshop participants.

Isle of Arran
Geology, coastal scenery, waterfalls, mountains and standing stones
Known as 'Scotland in Minature', Arran is a surprising island, flat in the south, hilly and mountaineous in the north. But it is a subtle island with strange geology to be found on the beaches, standing stones and many standing circles and the not too far away islands of Pladda and St Kilda.

Assynt & Inverpolly
Distinctive mountain scenery & coastal views
In the far north west of Scotland lies some of the most distinctive mountain scenery. Mountains like Stac Pollaidh and Suilven dominate the landscape, yet there is an abundance of wide open spaces. This is real highland countryside with some dramatic coastal scenery to boot. We offer workshops in Sutherland being based in Ullapool as well as another one being based in Lochinver:

Isle of Eigg
Dramatic beaches and coastal scenery
The small island of Eigg contains perhaps one of the most dramatic and photogenic beaches in Scotland: the Bay of Laig. With abundant geological features on the beach and the isle of Rum as a perfect backdrop, this location is a dream for any landscape photographer.

Isle of Harris
Outer Hebrides, Stunning Beaches
Harris is a beautifully compact island with wondrous expansive beaches and a rugged eastern side. The Isle of Lewis and the Calanish stones are only 1 hour away from our base and we will head there in the evening to shoot the stones during sunset.

 |
Isle of Skye
Jagged pinacles and atmospheric bays
With some of the most unusual geological scenery such as the Storr and the Quairaing, Skye never disappoints. Then to cap it all off, we have the atmospherics of Elgol, a magical bay overlooking the Cuilins of Skye and a place worth repeat visits.
