Marconi Pass
Southern Ice Field, Patagonia

On a five day trek on the Viedma ice field, we pitched our tents at this vantage point on our first evening. Exposed, windswept, it had a great view looking over the Marconi glacier. This was the start of a week long adventure that would give me an experience closer to Antarctica than I’d even dreamt of.
