Sample Slipcase
Last week I received a copy of the prototype slipcase for my book, and also the cloth bound outer casing of the actual Book. The printer hasn’t put the inset photo into the slipcase, but you can see the actual book (minus dust jacket) in the front and the slip-case in the background of this photo.

I love the font that Darren chose for the book, and I’m now very excited about the the book’s arrival. I should receive four sample copies early september. There will be a special announcement around that time via my newsletter mailing list.

Looks like it’s shaping up nicely Bruce, looking forward to its arrival (not as much as you I’m sure!). Agreed on font, good choice.

I’m on the Isle of Arran now, so my email activity is short, as I’m running a workshop now.
But thanks so much for the kind comments about the book. It’s certainly turning into something special I feel, and I’m very pleased with it.
Darren, who did the book design is a ‘font-aholic’ as he says in his own words. He will be so pleased to read this! :-)

The book screams quality in its simplicity Bruce.
I really hope to browse it very soon ;)
I also hope one day – when i feel i’m ready, of course – you will spare with me a few tips about the crucial steps in making a quality photographic book such as this one!
