My first eBook is now available
So here it is, my first eBook – ‘The Taj Mahal – a photographer’s approach’ is now available from my own store page.
Many thanks to Mike Dodds who gave his Technical Author experience, and Michael Marten who, as a college lecturer and photography enthusiast, was able to give me a good breakdown of what was missing.
If you do decide to buy it – well, thank you, I hope to expand on these books and produce some detailed items to do with travel and landscape photography in future. Perhaps you may like to suggest what you’d like to see in future publications.

Just finished reading, well, Bruce, very well done! It impressed me and fits with what I think as well for the approach to the process of creating photographs. But you have been thinking on the topic much deeper, it seems, impressive.
I wish that the moment to see this and more of your thoughts and shots in a printed book is soon, that will be worth having in the library of every outdoor photographer and any person with a passion for seeing the world more careful.
It takes some experience to understand that we have to force yourself for going out with a camera, when we feel a creative wave inside, never mind the conditions and the light. Then on location to wander around let your eyes to see the shot … I’m writing this now from winter Lofoten, looking how the storm and the rain are destroying the huge snow shapes around, which kept me shooting all the time for 10 days. Tomorrow the landscape will be totally different – and I just have to adapt myself to this, it’s so simple. Thanks about sharing your opinion in this book!

Hi Bruce, I just finished reading your book. It was most enjoyable.
It was also exactly what I expected which was an emotional journey through your feelings, insights and processes.
After reading your blog and listening to your podcasts I have enjoyed you sharing your journey and learning from it as you take people along for the journey.
Too many photography books are about the mechanics of photography. While that is also very important they do tend to be very functional and don’t address the emotional side of photography. Emotions and feelings are, after all, where much of the creative spark and passion live, and where they work their magic in making photographs. Your book helps people understand this.

Congrats for your first ebook, Bruce.
It’s given me lots of food for thought. I lately felt like suffering from lack of creativity when being out making photographs. Some of your lines have been a bit of an eye opener for me about my own approach to landscapes and locations and what might be the cause of that state.
Very well done! I got a lot of inspiration out of it and look forward to more books to come.
